All of our mothers are seen by my vet during her pregnancy to assure the health of both mother and growing babies are doing well. I have a nursery set up in one of my bedrooms exclusively for whelping and caring for mom and new babies. From the moment the babies are born they are handled daily, resulting in a well socialized puppy. Babies are weighed often to assure they are eating well and thriving. Your puppy leaves with the first set of shots, dew claws removed, wormed and a complete health check up from our Vet. It is important to note, I take every precaution to make sure each one of my dogs is healthy, including routine vet checkups prior to breeding to assure no known defects are passed on to the baby.
My health guarantee is for (1) year from the date of birth against major congenital health issues such as kidney or heart conditions. In the event this does occur, it must be documented by a qualified Vet and a copy provided to me for my personal Vet to review before a refund can be given. If it is found to be a valid major congenital condition, the puppy must be returned to me along with AKC registration papers at the buyers expense. The buyer is responsible for any and all medical bills while the puppy is in their care. In order for my written contract and guarantee to be valid, new parents must take the puppy to their personal Vet within 7 days from date of purchase or I cannot be held responsible for a refund.
Each one of my babies leaves with a puppy kit with books on raising and training your new puppy, a bag of premium puppy food, a baby book complete with baby record which includes pictures of the parents and a copy of my Vet's health checkup. Of course toys are always included for your new baby to play with when he or she goes to their new home!
I do accept deposits beginning at 4 weeks to hold a puppy until the they are ready to go to their new home usually between 8 and 9 weeks old. All pups must weigh a minimum of 2 1/2 lbs. The deposit is $250.00 and is not refundable for any reason so I ask my parents to be sure before making your decision.
Shipping is available for an additional $250.00 weather permitting. This includes health certificate and kennel.
